What We’re Excited About: September Books!

Happy Labor Day Weekend!  We can’t believe that September is already here.  But with a new month comes new books and here are some of the that we can’t wait to read.

Becky’s List

Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas
Release Date: September 5
Sarah J. Maas has a new book!  Do I need to give any more explaination why this is on the top of my to read list?  Okay.  Fine.  How about we finally get to see what happened to Chaol when he was sent away to recovery?  Yep, a whole book from Chaol’s perspective which just means YAY!  Oh, and there is just I really love about the simplistic cover.

22559726Intensity by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Release Date: September 5
I totally heart Nick Gautier.  To me he is the perfect representation of a sarcastic teenage boy (if a teenage boy had all sorts of superpowers).  I have eagerly read the other seven books in this series so I am super excited to read this one in September.  Plus, this may be the last one in the Chronicles of Nick series so I HAVE to know what happens.

                                                        Autoboyography by Christina Lauren
Release Date: September 12
Christina Lauren’s books are my favorite guilty pleasure so I was super excited when I came across this new book.  “Autoboyography” tells the story of Tanner a in the closet bi-sexual boy who falls in love with his male writing mentor while trying to write a book in four months.  It sounds awesome and I have high hopes for this book and I don’t think I will be disappointed.  Plus, I just love that cover.

Sarah’s List

33509076Black Bird of the Gallows by Meg Kassel
Release date: September 5th

Oooo, death is on the loose and many will die. A super cute boy shows up at school, everyone is falling all over him, but he may be more than he seems. This novel sounds interesting. It has everything I look for in a new fantasy/supernatural novel.

33385229They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

Release date: September 5th

Adam Silvera is a powerhouse writer, who incorporates characters that fall on the LGBTQ spectrum. I look forward to an emotional romance story about two guys. The two main characters are going to die at the end of the day and they use an app to find a friend for their last day.

32969999A Semi-Definitive List of Worst Nightmares by Krystal Sutherland

Release date: September 5th

I am ready to read another Sutherland book! I was on the fence about Our Chemical Hearts, but I am ready to give her another try. This book is about a family cursed to death by their greatest fear. The main character is working with another to stave off the curse.
