Author: Matthew Gray Gubler

Summary: Rumple Buttercup is a lonely creature with only 5 crooked teeth, 3 hairs, and scaly green skin.  Rumple lives in the sewer where he is able to see people but has to stay alone.  Can Rumple learn to accept himself so others will accept him and he won’t be alone anymore?

Review: What an odd but adorable little book!  Rumple Buttercup is a very simple kind of character in a simple kind of book that teaches a major lesson.  Rumple learns about himself and how to accept his shortcomings so that other people will join him in this acceptance. This is the kind of simple story that young readers can read and enjoy while also learning an important life less.  The book is fun, cute, and differently something you should read.
