Happy Almost November Everyone! We’re trying to adjust to the shorter days and colder weather the best way we can…with new books! Here are just a few books being released in November that we can’t wait to read!
Call the Hawk Down by Maggie Stievfater
Release Date: November 5
There are very few book series that I truly fangirl over but Stiefvater’s the Raven Cycle is one of the series that really speaks to my inner book nerd. I can not wait for the first book in her spin-off series. I need to know what happens to Ronan and Adam, if there are other dreamers, and will there be another Cabeswater?
When the Stars Lead to You by Ronni Davis
Release Date: November 12
Devon loved Ashton. They spent the most perfect summer together and then he broke her heart before disappearing. Now, it’s a year later and Ashton’s back. Devon doesn’t know if she will be able to forgive Ashton and love him again or if she is too broken to let him back into her heart. This book sounds perfectly angsty and I can’t wait to read it.
The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black
Release Date: November 19
Each of the books in Holly Black’s The Folk of the Air series has been better than the last and I just know the last book in this trilogy is going to be amazing! When we last left our incredible characters Jude had been vanished to the mortal realm after being betryaed by her potential love Carden. Is this all some ploy of Carden to protect Jude (I hope so!) or is Carden just all sorts of evil? I need to know and I don’t know if I can wait until almost the end of the month.
Obviously, I am super excited to read the new Stievfater book, but because I am only talking about three new titles today, I wanted to talk about more books.
Day Zero by Kelly deVos
Release Date: November 12th
End of the world/ disaster books are ones that I gravitate towards. I have no idea why, but when I see doomsday preppers and potential disaster conspiracies, I am totally in. In this book, Jinx’s family is run by a survivalist and she will need to put her learning to the test to save her siblings. I have this on Netgalley and I can’t wait to get started.
The How and The Why by Cynthia Hand
Release Date: November 6th
I liked the last book I read by Cynthia Hand and the description on her newest one has piqued my interest. The main character explores her history and her family through letters from her birth mother.
Gravity by Sarah Deming
Release Date: November 12th
This book explores the life of a female boxer, who has the potential to go on to the Olympics. I have never read anything by this author before. I do look for female characters as athletes, because they are so hard to find. I am excited for this realistic fiction.
