Like a Love Song by Gabriela Martins
Release Date: August 3
I love fake date books, and Like a Love Song appears to be a great fake date book. Natalie is an up-and-coming pop star who gets publicly dumped. Natalie’s PR team finds Natalie a fake boyfriend for good press, but as the two spend time together their fake relationship begins to feel real. This book looks like it is going to be a cute, fun romance, and it is at the top of my TBR list.
In the Wild Light by Jeff Zentner
Release Date: August 10
I love Jeff Zentner’s books. I love his characters, I love the complicated relationships, I love the realistic plots. His new book is about Cash, a boy living in a small Appalachian town. Cash is just trying to survive but his world changes when his best friend Delaney secures them both scholarships to an elite boarding school. This book sounds amazing, and I can’t wait to read it.
The Royals Next Door by Karina Halle

I am a rom-com fan, and The Royals Next Door by Karina Halle sounds like a hilarious romance. Piper is an elementary school teacher who takes a much need vacation and ends up renting the house next to the royal family. Piper develops an attraction with Harrison, a royal bodyguard. I am expecting a book filled with funny moments and swoony romance, and I don’t think I will be disappointed.
